Prof. Narendra S Chaudhari

Prof. Narendra S Chaudhari   is   Vice   Chancellor -Assam   Science   and   Technology   University -ASTU (Government   of   Assam), Guwahati   from   2022   and   Professor,  Computer   Science   and Engineering (CSE), IIT Indore from 2009 till date. Before 2009,  he was  with  Nanyang  Technological University -NTU, Singapore (Singapore Government University with QS world ranking (June 2022) as 19thposition, and 3rdposition in Asian University ranking) from 2001. Before 2001, he was Professor-Computer Science (Software) with responsibility to train Scientists for DRDO, Ministry of Defense, Government of India from 1990.He was Director, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology -VNIT Nagpur  from  2013  to  2018  and  Vice  Chancellor,  Uttarakhand  Technical  University -UTU (State    Government    University    of Uttarakhand, India)    Dehradun from    2019    to 2021. Dr. N.S. Chaudhari also been to Freie Universit at, Berlin (one of the four most prestigious universities   inGermanyand18thin   Europe   with   QS   world   ranking   (June   2022)   as 127thposition),  as  well  as  to  Nagoya  Institute  of  Technology,  Nagoya, Japan and  Southern Cross University, Lismore, New South Wales, Australia for short academic assignments. Dr. Narendra completed Ph.D.,M.Tech. (Computer Science), and B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering -EE, with distinction) from IIT Bombay. Dr. Narendra is an established researcher in Computer Science and Engineering with significant contributions in engineering education. His research contributions are in the areas of Machine Learning, Network Security and Mobile Computing, Novel Neural Network Models, Context Free Grammar Parsing, and Optimization. He has supervised 44 PhD students with more than 387 publications to his credit. Dr. Narendra represented  India  in  the  years  2015  and  2016  as  part  of  an  academic  delegation to Sweden,  Belarus and P.R.  China, accompanied by  the Honorable  President  of  India. In 2017, he visited  Saint  Petersburg  Mining  University, Russia, where  he  initiated  academic collaborations with institutes in India. Dr. Narendra was also part of Federation of Indian Chamber of   Commerce   and   Industry   (FICCI)’s   academic   delegation   to France, Germany and Netherlands. Dr. Narendra is a  senior  member  of  IEEE  (USA)  as  well  as  ACM  (USA).He  is Fellow and recipient of Eminent Engineer award (Computer Engineering) of the Institution of Engineers, India   (IE-India),   and Fellow of   the   Institution   of   Electronics   and   Telecommunication Engineers  (IETE)  (India).  Dr. Narendra is President-Indian  Academy  of  Mathematics,  Indore (India) from 2020 till date.

Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Namibia University of Science and Technology, Namibia

Dr. KS Sastry, Musti received BTech in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, Kakinada (A.P.) in 1990, MTech and Ph.D. from NIT, Warangal in the years 1996 and 2002, respectively, is an accomplished academic with more than 30 years of professional experience. He is currently with the Namibia University of Science and Technology as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.  He is involved with several projects in the areas of big data, enterprise information systems, and Demand Side Management. He has more than 30 years' experience in industry, academic, and research and has worked in different parts of the world.   Earlier he was with NIT Warangal, India as a lecturer; Global Energy Consulting Engineers, Hyderabad, India as Assistant General Manager; and then served the University of West Indies in the Caribbean. Dr. Sastry has a significant interest in core and multidisciplinary research and published more than 50+ research articles and book chapters in the extended areas of Energy Systems, Database and Information Systems, BigData, and Soft computing.  He has won the IEEE travel award for my paper to Kobe, Japan in IEEE / Circuits and Systems in 2005. He has organized 04 Short Term Course Program (STCP)/ Faculty Development Program (FDP) programs, several expert lectures and has been invited as a key-speaker, session chair in various workshops/conferences. Dr. Sastry has visited various universities across the globe to serve in various capacities. He is a visiting professor with ESIGELEC, Rouen (data sciences), France; Sophia University, Japan (data sciences), University of Turabo, Puerto Rico (Energy Systems), and KL University, India. He is on the panel of accreditors of IEEE/ ABET, USA, and visited a few universities as part of the ABET accreditation process. Dr. Sastry is a senior member of IEEE, USA; a member of IET-UK, and a Life member of IE, India.

Dr. Ashraf Samarah,

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI, OHIO, USA, and Associate Professor, Electrical Energy Engineering Department, Al Balqa Applied University, Jordan.

Dr. Ashraf Samarah was born in Irbid, Jordan, on September 29, 1980. He received B.Sc. degree in 2003, M.Sc.degreein Communications and Electronicengineering with honors from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2003, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Energy Engineering, fromthe University of Siegen, Siegen, Germany,in 2012, respectively.He has worked in the area of photovoltaic energy systems and electrical signals last ten years. Dr. Samarah worked as a scientific researcher at the center of sensor system (ZESS) in SiegenGermany, and Fraunhofer institute in Wachtberg-Germany, from 2007 - 2012. Mr. Samarah was the director of Zarqa Energy Research Center (ZERC), and the consultant for the energy auditing and energy efficiency for all the buildings of the university. He was also responsible for installing, maintenance and operation two MW PV system at Zarqa University since September 2015 till September 2016. He is currently working as a consultant and expert for renewable energy projects (7 MW PV wheeling PV system) and 10 MW PV direct proposal system in addition to that he is a director of renewable energy tenders' projects at Al Balqa Applied University. In the same time, he is the head of the Department of Electrical Energy Engineering (DEEE). Mr. Samarah is an expert, researcher and teaching committee member in the Department of Electrical Energy Engineering (DEEE) with valuable scientific publications in the field of renewable energy, energy auditing, and energy efficiency at AL-Balqa Applied University. He is also a renewable energy consultant for Jordanian public and private entities.

Area of Specialization- Remote Sensing, Photovoltaic Cell Systems (PVC), Satellite Communications Planning, Mobile and Wireless Communications System, Synthetic Aperture Radar and Remote Sensing, LTE and Advanced LTE systems.
